We produced a sensational second-half turnaround to beat Hallen 5-1, scoring five times after the break to secure a convincing victory.
Despite controlling much of the opening period, we went into half-time trailing 1-0 and faced a tough task to turn the game around.
However, we came out for the second half with a completely different level of intensity and were rewarded almost immediately.
Jack Watts got us back on level terms in the 51st minute, before Harry Leeson completed the turnaround just a minute later to put us 2-1 ahead.
The momentum was firmly with us, and Nathan Dennis added a third in the 57th minute to put some daylight between the sides.
We continued to pile on the pressure, with Kian Davies getting in on the action in the 62nd minute to make it 4-1.
Davies wasn’t finished there, as he found the net again in the 76th minute to complete a remarkable five-goal second half and round off a 5-1 victory.
After going into the interval a goal down, the response after the break was exactly what was required. Five goals in 45 minutes demonstrated our attacking quality and ensured we came away with all three points.
