We came away with a 0-1 win away from home on Saturday, as we head into the last seven games of the season

Our manager, Steve Cleal, gives his thoughts.

“Saturday wasn’t the most spectacular game of football and certainly won’t live long in the memory with neither side really playing with any sort of rhythm.

“It was a real moment of quality that settled the game with Kian (Davies) and Wattsy (Jack Watts) combining to set up Tino (Shumba) for his first goal for the town. H (Harry Leeson) didn’t take any part in the game as he was struggling slightly with a knee injury but he and Drew (Hefferman) should be back for this weekend.

“For me it was another important win as it continues to show the different challenges you face and will have to overcome if you intend to be successful at any level but particularly in this league.

“Coming up we’ve got a double header at The Causeway, where first up we face in-form Cup winning Hereford Pegasus on Saturday, and then on Easter Monday we will be hosting our neighbours Lydney Towm who will be desperate for the points and bragging rights in the derby!

”Support again at Levens was brilliant so hopefully we can get two big crowds behind us Saturday and Monday.”
