Tonight our Under 18 side take on Odd Down Under 18s in the FA Youth Cup, full details of the fixture are below.

Opposition: Odd Down U18s
Competition: FA Youth Cup 1st Qualifying Round
Venue: The Causeway
Kick Off: 19:30
Entry: £2 adults, U16s Free

There will be a raffle as well, please do your best to support this as there are a lot of costs for the youth team involved in the FA Youth Cup and this will help to cover some of them.

Please be aware of some new and important changes that have been made to the Government requirements for games at the Causeway which come in to force today…

Face masks: Face masks MUST be worn when entering the club house to purchase drinks.  This is part of the new government restrictions on hospitality so please ensure that you bring a face mask with you as the bar and food will be open tonight.

Track & Trace: The FA & Government have introduced a new electronic track and track system which will be in place for tonight.  This will be using the new NHS COVID-19 app that has been released today.  When you enter the Causeway you will see a poster with a QR code, you must scan this with the new NHS Track and Trace app on entry.  An example of the poster is at the bottom of this article.

The app is available to download on the App Store and Google Play and stores no personal details from you other than the start of your postcode area i.e. GL14.  No other personal information is used.  If you get any Covid symptoms the NHS can use this check in information to alert everyone they may have come into contact with by the app.  Please download this app prior to coming this evening.  If you 100% can’t use the app due to any reason then your name and number will be taken on the gate as before but be aware that this new app will be used everywhere from today.

You can download the app via these links…

Rule of Six: As before, the rule of six is being monitored at the club.  Please be mindful to stay in groups of 6 or less and do not switch between groups.

These new guidelines and systems have come into force in the UK from today and we are able to trial them at the Under 18 match so please do your best to follow all the new rules as they will be in force throughout football going forward.

Good luck to the Under 18s this evening, a victory will see them take on Chippenham Academy in the 2nd Qualifying Round, again this will be at home.
