Full list of returning players in 2020/21

Following the recent announcements on social media, below is a full list of players returning to the Causeway in 2020-21.  A couple of players still require sponsorship, if you’re interested in sponsoring a player, please visit this link.  Thank you to all those clubs who have sponsored players already.

Returning is our number 1 Andy Hannah! Hannah had an outstanding first season with the #Foresters, with a commanding presence, great shot stopping and top class distribution!

Also back for next season is two time player’s player of the year Sam Turl.  Sam won the award for the second consecutive season after our virtual awards evening!

Also returning for 20-21 is Sammie Hicks who made his comeback from injury last season and we all look forward to him being back to his very best this season.

Fast becoming a leader on and off the pitch, gifted centre back Liam Angel has also agreed his return for next season.

A huge coup for the #Town, Matt Bower has agreed his return to the Causeway! An outstanding all round player, the athletic, uncompromising defender with bags of ability on the ball will return for 20-21!

Is there a better ball winner than this man? The tenacious, midfield commander Ben Watkins is back for another season at The Causeway!

2019-20 Player of the Year as awarded by our staff was Andy Lewis who is also back for 20-21 whenever that may begin!

Another returning players for 20-21 is 2019-20 Captain, leader and midfield maestro Lorcan Sheehan

Undoubtedly one of the best defenders at this level Nick Rhodes returns next season for another year with the #Foresters

Also back is the super talented Kieran Alder. Injury, suspension then COVID disrupted last season but watch this young man fly next season.

A nightmare for opposition & supporters favourite, our goal scoring midfielder Craig Norman is back for next season! #StorminNorman got 10 goals with 12 games left & will look to better that in 20-21

Also returning is our current continuous longest serving player, supporters favourite Blaine Waugh! After an outstanding 19-20 demonstrating his versatility, expect to see Blaine in a new role next season

Lewis Bamford was unbeaten in a #Town shirt last season after returning. 4 games, 3 W, 1 D, 1 pen won & a goal. Everyone will be looking for #Bamfs to extend that form all season

Next up is our 19-20 Goal of the Season winner, for his goal at Winchester, the talented all round forward Joshua Hunt who is looking for his most prolific season yet in the Southern League
