Lewis Bamford is the latest to agree to return to the Causeway following a meeting with manager Sooty Cleal.

Bamf who was poised to return prior to the league ending is delighted to be back at the Causeway.

“There was interest from other clubs but I like what Sooty and Morf had to say about their plans and I just want to get back playing and enjoying football again – there seems a good bunch of lads here and that’s important as well”

Manager Sooty Cleal had this to say about the forward

“Its clear to see the qualities that Bamf brings to the table and one of the areas we needed to improve on last year was our quality in the final third, he knows where the net is and has been there done it in this league – so to have him from day 1 will be big for not only us but him as a player – he is like a new signing as he didn’t feature for us last season”

Bamf joins Nick Jones, Ash Davies, Luke Payne, Tristan Haswell, Zak Drew, Lewis Spurrier and new signing Harry Emmett in an exciting looking squad ahead of the 2021/22 Southern League season.
