We are delighted to announce that we have started a brand new Cinderford Town Reserve Team, who will compete in the Hellenic League Division 2.
The new side will give local players the opportunity to develop within the Club with the aim of providing the first team with more local talent over the coming years. This will be alongside the continuing success of our youth sides over the past few years.
Our new reserve side will be coached by Rich Wilkins. Rich is a UEFA B Coach who was involved in the creation of our excellent youth team setup.
We will shortly be announcing the other coaches involved in this new setup, as well as our new management team for our first team.
Games will be played on a Saturday afternoon in rotation with the first team at the Causeway. Alongside this, we are also delighted to say that our ladies team will also be playing at the Causeway on Sundays in the Hereford Development League, meaning a full weekend of football will be on offer this season.
Training for the newly formed reserve team will start at the end of June, and players looking to join the club to play in the reserve team should initially make contact with Rich via email at: richwilkins@btinternet.com for more details.
