We’re delighted to confirm the re-signing of three players from last seasons campaign.

Blaine Waugh Cinderford Town

Blaine Waugh has committed to Cinderford Town for the upcoming season.

Originally signed in 2016 from Brockworth Albion, Blaine is extremely versatile and capable of playing at full back, on the wing or as a striker.  Blaine is a fans favourite who gives everything on the pitch and his pace is a constant threat.

Sammie Hicks Cinderford Town

Sammie Hicks has also re-signed for the new season.  Sammie joined the club on loan from Gloucester City originally back in 2015 and formed part of the Southern League winning side, also scoring the winning goal in the “Champions” match at the end of the season. He then signed for Cinderford Town in 2016.

Having suffered an ACL injury a couple of years back, Sammie was slowly reintroduced back to action towards the end of the 2019/20 season.  A fully fit Sammie Hicks is as good as there is in the league and we can’t wait to see him back in action.

Kieran Alder Cinderford Town

Last but not least, Kieran Alder has also committed for the upcoming season.

Alder originally joined the club from Tuffley Rovers and is a talented, creative midfielder who came through the Gloucester City Youth setup under Neil Mustoe and his reputation grew with some stand out performances performances for Hartpury college.  Kieran was Tuffley Rovers player of the year prior to stepping up to the Southern League with Cinderford in 2018.

The trio join new signings Tristan Haswell, Luke Payne and Ash Davies as part of a new look side under Cleal.
